Muhammed Manga, a resident of Brufut Village, told the court he recognised two of the accused persons and said some times last year he was going from Kutubo Touray’s compound in Pipeline to Brufut.
He said as they were approaching the compound at Brufut, he and the driver saw two boys with a wheelbarrow with doors and scraps belonging to Kutubo Touray.
He added that when they approached the two accused persons and asked them where they got those scraps, the accused persons said it was sold to them by someone.
They called Mr Touray and informed him about the incident, he said.
Mr Touray came and they went to search for the person who sold it to the accused persons but could not find anybody, he said, adding that the matter was reported to the police.
The first accused, William, showed himself up as the person who sold it to the two accused, he stated.
The case continues.
