Alleged mobile thief arraigned

One Saikou Badjie, a resident of Sukuta Village, in Kombo North District of the West Coast Region, was recently arraigned at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing.

He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D1, 000, with a surety who must deposit a national ID card and a reachable address with the court.

According to the particulars of offence on 13 January 2012, at Sukuta Village, in Kombo North District of the West Coast Region, the accused Saikou Badjie, stole a mobile phone marked Nokia from the house of one Masanneh Kuyateh, valued at D750.
