One Sulayman Sawaneh was recently arraigned before Magistrate Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court for stealing.
According to the particulars of the offence, on 23rd August 2010 at Serrekunda Market, the accused person, Sulayman Sawaneh, stole two Nokia mobile phones valued at D1500, being the property of one Daniel Amazechni.
Meanwhile, the accused person who pleaded not guilty to the charge was granted court bail in the sum of D5000 with a Gambian surety who must deposit a National Identity Card.
The case was adjourned to 14th September 2010 for continuation.
