A man called Muhammed Kabba was recently arraigned before Magistrate Siranding of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, charged with stealing from a motor vehicle.
Kabba pleaded not guilty of the charge and was subsequently remanded in custody.
According to the charge sheet, on 14 March 2011, at Tippa garage, in the Kanifing Municipality, Muhammed Kabba stole from a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 9903B, a handbag containing the following: a Nokia mobile phone valued at D3,000, Sunglass valued D300, a German passport, driving licence, alien card, car insurance and some fiscal cash of D9,000, all being the property of one Badara Seller.
The case was adjourned till 29 March 2011.
