One Sheriffo Bojang was Thursday
arraigned before Principal Magistrate Tabally of the Kanifing Magistrates’
Court, charged with possession of prohibited drug for the purpose of drug
trafficking.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused, Sheriffo Bojang, on 10 April 2013, at Bullock Police Checkpoint, in the West Coast Region, had in his possession 2kg, 220grams of cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug.
He denied the charge and was subsequently remanded in custody.
The case was adjourned till 8 June 2013.
In a similar development, one Musa Jarju was also arraigned at the same court, charged with possession of prohibited drug for the purpose of drug trafficking.
He denied the charge and was remanded in custody.
The particulars of offence stated that the accused, Musa Jarju, on 12 February 2013, at Bullock Police Checkpoint, in the West Coast Region, had in his possession 5kg, 760grams of cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug.
The case was then adjourned till 8 June 2013.
