Magistrate Kemo Ceesay of the Brikama Magistrates' Court recently discharged one Ousman Jallow, after the complainant applied to withdraw the case.
According to the complainant, one Samba, he wants to withdraw the case on the grounds that the accused had worked for him for two year as a herdsman, and no cattle was ever lost by him, including an appeal from Jallow's relative.
In his ruling, Magistrate Kemo Ceesay told the court that he had listened to the application made by the complainant, which the prosecutor did not object to. He consequently discharged the accused.
It would be recalled that the accused, Ousman Jallow, sometime in the past at Kanjiramba village in Foni, Western Region, allegedly stole two bulls from the said Samba.
