The trial of a charge of breaking into a building involving one Babucarr Sambou continued recently at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
Continuing his testimony, Alpha Omar Baldeh, the prosecution fourth witness (PW4), told the court that when he came from a shop, he found the accused standing with others.
He said as he arrived where the accused was standing, the accused ran away, adding that he later went to the station to make his statement.
Under cross-examination, the witness denied he was called by the prosecution first witness.
The accused ran away because his (the witness) boss wanted to apprehend the accused.
The case at that juncture was adjourned till 14 November 2011.
