A man called Abdoulie Jobe was recently arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ court, charged with common assault.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D10,000 with a Gambian surety who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit an ID card.
The particulars of offence stated that on 7 November 2012, at Bambo, Serrekunda, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Abdoulie Jobe, assaulted one Ousman Ndoye by giving him a blow on his mouth.
Hearing was adjourned till 26 November 2012.
