Alagie Sarr, head coach of Real De Banjul FC, has expressed his delight at collecting all three points at the expense of Armed Forces FC because they drew two games before meeting again last weekend in the national league.
Despite the 1-0 win, Coach Sarr’s men have been criticised for having made countless misses.
Asked what was the problem with his striker's lack of composure in front of goal, he said: "We are performing; we just need to score goals."
Bubacarr Trawally (alias Steve), according to Coach Sarr, is a young and talented player who was very outstanding during the weekend’s game. "I am sure in the near future he will be one of the best players in The Gambia," he added.
"Armed Forces are a big and good team but I say hard luck to them," he responded when asked how he rated his opponent.
Their aim "is to win the league" through playing good football, he said, adding that they would prepare very well for their next game.
"We have to respect Bakau United but we will prepare very well for them and our aim is to win that game," he said.
