The GFA 1st Division duo of Africell FC and Tallinding United are relegated to the second division after failing to maintain their places in the 12 club championship.
This is not the first time that the two teams are being relegated, Africell who has proved to be one of the best teams in the country suffered a similar set back when they were relegated to the 2nd division which many described as their worst performance in many years two seasons ago.
But despite a change of club and management, the cellular boys could not prevent themselves from relegation to the second division after securing only 5 wins in 22 games, they drew 7 and lost nine and secured 22 points while fellow relegated side Tallinding United who finished at the bottom of the table on 17 points lost 13 games, drew 5 after winning only 4 games in 22 appearances.
The promoted Tallinding United side who came in to this campaign with the ultimate aim of maintaining a place in the country's top flight football are certainly going back to fight hard in order to regain promotion to the popular 1st division football.
