at around 11:00

at Pipeline in the KanifingMunicipality
of the Republic

jointly fought at a public place.
Presenting the facts before the court, police prosecutor SGT.
870 Touray said the first accused Nasir on 21stNovember was coming from a supermarket while the
second accused Ali Mahoum stood in front of the first accused and told him that
he is wanted at Kotu Police station. As a result there was a scuffle during
which both of them sustained injuries.
The first accused person pleaded guilty and was subsequently
cautioned and discharged while the second accused pleaded not guilty and was
bailed in the sum of D10, 000 with a Gambian surety.
Hearing will continue on 31stDecember 2008.
