Abuko Utd stretch Immigration, snatch safe place in GFF 1st Women league

Abuko United on Sunday defeated Immigration 1-0 in the week-thirteen fixtures of Gambia Football Federation Women domestic division one league  fixtures played at the Father Gough Sport Complex in Manjai Kunda to move one place away from safety in the 2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation Women domestic division one league.

Inspirational striker Mam Drammeh was the hero of the game after notching in a stunning opener in the 16th minute of the game after capitalizing from Fatou Dukureh’s high cross to fire home the opener, a goal which eventually proved the winner for the Abuko-based outfit.

Elsewere on Friday Armed Forces beat Interior 1-0 at Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai kunda.

Meanwhile, Future bi beat Brikama United at Box Bar Mini Stadium in the second division league

Elsewhere, City Girls beat Jeshwang United 1-0 to maintain their second place at Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda in the second division.
