Abuko Upper Basic School Volleyball team recently emerged champions of the 2010 Gambia Secondary Sports Association (GSSSA) Coca-Cola Gambega sponsored Inter-Secondary Schools Volleyball Championship, after beating St. Therese's Upper Basic 2 straight sets to nil in a well-contested final, played at Abuko Volleyball Lawn.
The 2010 champions, Abuko Upper Basic School Volleyball team walked away with a giant trophy and cash prize of D10, 000, while Saint Therese's received D6, 000 as runners-up.
