A signing of the Protocol Agreement of the 1st African Military Basketball Championship between the Military Authorities of Congo and OSMA scheduled for 15 October 2013 in Brazzaville, Congo.
The hosting of the 1st African Military Basketball Championship by the Republic of Congo, September 2014.
The hosting of the 1st African Military Cross-Country by Angola on the 11th November 2013. The Board members called on the members to send their teams to participate in the one (1) day tournament.
Hosting of the 1st African Military Boxing Championship by the Republic of Guinea in Conakry on the 23rd November 2013. The Board members appealed to Member Countries to participate in large numbers.
The Board members present approved the final Protocol Agreement of the 1st Africa Military Boxing Championship to be signed by Guinea Military Authority and OSMA.
Members resolved to extend an Invitation to Chiefs of Defense Staff of Member Countries to attend the Opening or Closing Ceremony of the African Military Boxing Championship to be held in Guinea Conakry. The same will be extended to subsequent Championships in the future.
The Chadian Delegation has confirmed the approval by the Chadian Military Authority to organize the 9th Edition of the African Military Football Cup of Nations (CAMFOOT) in November/December 2014.
Signing of CAMFOOT Protocol Agreement between Chadian Military authorities and OSMA will be on 7th September 2014. Subsequently inspection of CAMFOOT infrastructure by OSMA Officials in Ndjamena, Chad, will be on the 3rd of November 2014.
Members approved the hosting of the OSMA General Assembly in March 2014 Tunis, Tunisia.
Members reviewed the New OSMA Constitution which will be adopted during the 4th OSMA General Assembly in Tunisia.
The members approved the organisation of Basketball elimination tournaments by Liaison Offices in preparation for the 1st African Military Basketball Championship. Members will send their qualifiers by 30th July 2014.
Colonel Maikano Abdullahi (Nigeria) was elected to the post of OSMA Secretary General by an absolute majority for a four-year period.
The members pledged to put in all efforts to insure successful elimination championships for the various OSMA Continental Championship in their respective Liaison Offices.
Col Jean Marie Ompebe (OSMA Vice President) congratulated the members for the active participation during the deliberations. He also thanked the Gambian Delegation for the successful organisition of the 4th OSMA Board of Directors Meeting.
Members unanimously adopted a motion of support and gratitude to His Excellency President Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh, President of the Republic of The Gambia, for his support of Continental Military Sports.
