3-year-old Boy Seeks Support to Undergo Heart Surgery Abroad

Fodayba Barrow, a 3-year-old boy residing in Wellingara Village in the West Coast Regional, is soliciting financial support from the government, the private sector, parastatals, donors, and philanthropists, NGOs, companies and individuals to undergo heart surgery abroad.

According to the medical report received from Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul on 12 March 2017, Fodayba is currently suffering from serious heart disease that cannot be treated in the country and needs to receive treatment overseas.

Sarjo Barrow, the father of Fodayba, said his son was born with heart disease, adding that his condition was exacerbated when he fell down from an orange tree.

Barrow is appealing to the government, the private sector, parastatals, donors, philanthropists, NGOs, companies and individuals to support his son to go and receive his life-saving heart surgery abroad.
