Habibou Sallah, a 25-year-old man and a resident of Bundung is in urgent need of oversea medical treatment. Mr. Sallah is soliciting assistance from the government, individuals and NGOs to come to his aid.
Mr. Sallah who walked into The Point offices last Tuesday told our reporter that he is in dire need of assistance to undergo oversea medical treatment.
According to the medical report issued by the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) dated 18th September 2009, the patient had a history of road accident in the year 2000 and has since been complaining of pain of the right clavicle and right femoral bones. He is also diagonised to be suffering from sickle cell.
He is reported to have undergone surgery in Dakar for chronic osteomyelitis of the above mentioned bones, but his condition however remains the same.
He is presently experiencing continuous discharge of pus from the right clavicle and femur and also limps on the right leg.
