Abdoulie Sowe and Gibbi Bah were Thursday arraigned before Magistrate Babucarr Secka of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with conspiracy and theft.
They both denied the charge and were each granted court bail of D25,000 with two Gambian sureties who must deposit their biometric ID cards as well as swear to an affidavit of means.
The charge sheet on count one read that the accused persons, Abdoulie Sowe and Gibbi Bah, on 7 April 2013, at Basori Village, in the Kombo North District of the West Coast Region, conspired among themselves to commit an offence.
Count two read that on the same date and place, they stole three cows valued at D36,000, being the property of one Ousman Bojang.
The case was adjourned till 20 May 2013.
