Ida Faal, an 18-year-old girl, is soliciting support from the government, the private sector, donors, philanthropists, parastatals, NGOs, and the general public to undergo medical treatment abroad.
Ida‘s medical report issued by Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul on 14 May 2014, states that the poor girl has sustained a broken leg which could not be treated in the country and would need to undergo medical treatment abroad.
Mam Sallah, Ida Faal’s mother, who relayed her daughter’s condition to The Point, said the family is unable to take her daughter abroad for treatment due to lack of funds.
Madam Sallah is pleading with the government, the private sector, donors, philanthropists, parastatals, NGOs, and the general public to come to their aid to support her daughter to undergo medical treatment abroad.
