Ten-year-old Fatou Faal has been suffering from Mitro Aortic Valves disease two years now,
Residing in Serrekunda, Fatou, whose family members could not afford to meet the cost of providing hospital recommended overseas treatment for her, is seeking support from the government, the private sector, donors, philanthropists, NGOs, companies and individuals to come to her aid to undergo treatment abroad.
According to her medical report received from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) dated 15 November 2011, Fatou Faal is suffering from Mitro Aortic Valves which cannot be treated in the country; therefore she must go for medical treatment abroad.
Fatou is appealing to the government, the private sector, donors, NGOs and the general public to support her to undergo the recommended overseas treatment.
