KS Entertainment set to launch Face of West Coast 4.0, hold award night

KS Entertainment and stakeholders are set to organize a pageant dubbed Face of West Coast, with the slogan Beauty with Brains. The pageant is expected to feature 7 female models to display God given creativity in Talent, fashion and promotion.

The event is due to take place on 27th November 2022 at Gambia College Hall.

According to KS Entertainment, gate will opens at 19:00hr and the event start at 21:00hr. Young beauty queens will be presenting their platforms on issues that are affecting our societies today.

Equally, KS Entertainment will award 10 prominent people of the region for their vibrant leadership, continuous determination, commitment and sacrifice towards the development of The Gambia on the day.

KS Entertainment said it deems it prudent to collaborate with any office/institution/organization for a successful launch of Face of West Coast 4.0 & Awarding Night program. It is therefore seeking for an audience with any office/institution/organization interested in partnering with them for more discussion and information on the activity plan.

Meanwhile, KS Entertainment is a leadership program that aims to empower girls and young women with the knowledge and requisite skills, and to create a platform for sustainable difference in combating the destruction of our natural heritage and environment.

The pageant also helps to endorse Gambian beauty with reason, supporting our outstanding models to the national stage/ and endorsing arts, fashion music and culture/ to help Gambia tourism industrial grow bigger and bitter through pageantry, we are specialized in organizing events and promoting talent in the Gambia.

As a celebrated pageant queen herself, Kaddy Samateh (the current crown holder of “Miss World Diversity”) and the foundation KS Entertainment has been guiding and directing young girls and ladies into meaningful live support engagement in them strive to become good and productive citizens. It is from this back drop that this year`s theme for the pageant is Face of West Coast 4.0 (Beauty with Brain).

“The beauty pageant organization is a proven effective tool to promote societal awareness, as many people admire and aspire to be a beauty queen so that one would be a good and effective advocate of worthy causes towards national development. To give life to this vision, candidates and winners from this event will symbolize the region in numerous national competitions. This will really help generate extra career opportunities for the young Gambian women, and in support emerging us Nation/Mother Land, The Gambia.”

The Miss World is one of the oldest beauty pageants established in the year 1951 and conceptualized by late Eric Morley as the first edition of the Miss World beauty pageant held in United Kingdom. Miss World is no longer just a beauty pageant, it has emerged as a platform for young women from across the globe to display their talent, intelligence and work towards a greater good. It provides contestants the opportunity to display and show-case their culture and raise awareness towards various humanitarian causes as every year the pageant raises millions of pounds for charitable work under the banner of ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ program.

 

In the Gambia, Face of West Coast is a region pageant, searching for the most beautiful and talented young girls and women to serve as role models dedicated to uphold the advocacy to preserve and restore Mother Earth.
