Work begins at Gunjur Mini Stadium

Work has started at the Gunjur Mini Stadium, according to the information from the Kombo South District sports authorities.

The mini stadium project is bankrolled by world football governing body FIFA and coordinated by Gambia Football Federation (GFF).

The site work started with the smoothing of the football pitch that will be followed by glassing and construction of pavilions, dressing room, perimeter fence and other facilities.

Meanwhile, the town's biggest football arena will host league and international matches after the competition of the project.
