Coach Manneh was speaking to the GFF Media shortly after the Baby Scorpions 4-0 victory over Liberia in their final group match played at the Stade Lat Dior on Monday.
“One player did not pass the MRI test and another player did not recover. Another player arrived late and did not do the MRI test with the group because the player was on (school) exams,” Coach Manneh said.
Coach Manneh revealed that their performance against Senegal in their opening match was not impressive.
He further revealed that his team was little bit down against Liberia in the first half and in the second half the players picked up their rhythm.
According to him, his team scored four goals during the match to cruise to the semi-finals of the WAFU Zone A U-17 football tournament.
Coach Manneh further pointed out the attitudes of his players are positive as they grow up.
