Wallidan, Steve Biko snatch slender victories in 1st Tier

Wallidan and Steve Biko FC on Wednesday secured slender wins in the 2021-2022 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League after defeating Gamtel and Brikama United in their week-29 matches.

The Blue boys beat Gamtel 1-0 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau to bounce back in the country's Elite League after losing their previous league outing.

Wallidan now bagged 43 points after twenty-nine league matches.

Steve Biko defeated Brikama United 1-0 at the Banjul Mini Stadium to maintain their winning form in the First Division League.

The Bakau giant killers now clasped 46 points in twenty-nine league outings.

Meanwhile, Team Rhino drew goalless with Waa Banjul at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
