Tujereng navigate to KSD tournament quarterfinals

Tujereng on Tuesday sailed to the quarter-finals of the 2021-2022 Kombo South District football tournament following their 1-0 win over Berending in their round of 16 match played at the Gunjur Upper and Senior Secondary School football field.

T.J boys finished top-spot in Group D of the Kombo South District biggest football jamboree with 9 points before clashing with Berending, who finished third-place in Group C with 4 points.

Both villages were keen to beat each other to advance to the last four of Kombo South District biggest football fiesta.

Tujereng netted one goal in the match without Berending reacting to sail to the quarter-finals of the 2021-2022 Kombo South District football showpiece.

The defeat saw Berending out of Kombo South District biggest football jamboree and will hang their boots until next year.
