Brikama thump COSDA to convalesce in WCR zonal tourney

Brikama on Tuesday thumped COSDA 2-0 at the SSP football field to recover in the on-going West Coast Region zonal football tournament.

The Sateyba and Coastal Road boys both slipped to Brufut in their previous matches in the 2021-2022 West Coast Region football tournament.

The duo came for the vital three points to recover in West Coast Region football championship.

Alieu Badara Nyang gave Brikama the lead immediately after the interval.

Captain Lamin Sonko netted the second goal for Brikama in the dying minute of the match thus it ended 2-0 in favour of the Sateyba boys.

The win earned Brikama top-spot in Group A with 7 points, while the Coastal Road boys are with only 1 points after four group matches.
