Trawally, Njie, Dibba score for foreign clubs

Gambian international players, Foday Trawally, who plays for Estonian side Paide, Baboucarr Njie who plies his trade with Rio Grande Valley in USA and Pa Dibba of Turkish side Eyupspor all scored for their respective clubs during their last games before the international break.

 

Foday Trawally scored during Paide’s 5-1 away win over Narva Trans in their week-29 fixtures of the Meistriliiga on Sunday. 

He scored his side’s fourth goal in the 75th minute.

The 20-year-old has now scored in all competitions for Paide following his last goal against Narva Trans. 

The victory moved Paide to third position with 59 points after 29 matches.

Baboucarr Njie also scored during his American Second Division side (Rio Grande Valley) 3-3 draw against Phoenix Rising FC in their week-32 fixture of the American USL Championship on Sunday.

Njie opened the scoring for his side in the 19th minute. 

He was named in the Team of the Week last weekend for the USL Championship after he won 20/26 duels, completed 99/109 passes, made five interceptions and 17 recoveries.

 The 26-year-old midfielder now scored two goals in five matches for Rio Grande Valley this season.

Baboucarr Njie and Rio Grande Valley currently sit fourth position with 47 points in the USL Championship table.

Pa Dibba also scored during his Turkish Second Division side Eyupspor 2-1 away win over Altinordu in the week-12 fixture of the Turkish League (Second Division League) played on Saturday.

Dibba scored the first and equalising goal for Eyupsor in the 39th minute before Yalcin Kilinc scored the winner in the 81st minute. 

The 34-year-old veteran Gambian striker now scored three goals in five appearances for Eyupsor in the Turkish Second Division League.

The victory moved Eyupspor to third position in the Turkish Second Division League with 26 points after 12 matches.
