TMT FC lead GFF Women’s League Division 1

Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) Female Football Club hammered Brikama United 4-1 in their week-three outing played at the Live Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori on Saturday to lead the 2024\2025 Gambia Football Federation GFF Women’s League Division One.

Silvino Co scored a brace for TMT FC in the 9th and 75th minutes of the match respectively.

Nyima Sabally and Kaddy Jallow also registered their names on score sheet in 53rd and 56th minutes of the match respectively.

Sirreh Korteh scored for Brikama United during the match, which eventually proved to be a consolation for the Brikama based-team.

The win earns TMT FC 9 points.

Reigning champions, Red Scorpions suffered their first defeat in the league after losing to Berewuleng FC 2-0 at the Late OusmanSaho Football Field in Old Yundum on Sunday.

Kumba Gassama opened scores for Berewuleng FC in the 36th minute of the match from the penalty spot after Sarah Jarju was brought down inside the eighteen yard box by Fatou Sanyang.

Kumba Gassama netted the second goal for Berewuleng FC in the 50th minute of the match.

Berewuleng FC finished the match with ten players after Rebecca Mendy was sent-off in the 32nd minute of the match for receiving second yellow card.

The victory earns Berewuleng FC second spot on the league table with 7 points, two points behind league leaders TMT FC.

Red Scorpions now sit third-place on the league table with 6 points.

Future Bi drew 1-1 with Koita at the Hawks Football Field in Kabekel on Friday.

Esther Mendy scored for Koita FC, while Juwana Colley scored for Future Bi.

The Gambia Police Force thrashed Yakarr FC 3-0 at the Gunjur Nyamina Mini Stadium on Saturday.

Nyima Sanneh scored a brace for The Gambia Police Forces during the match.

Kaddy Camara also registered her name on the score sheet for The Gambia Police Forces.

The Gambia Immigration defeated Jeshawang United 1-0 at the Live Your Dream Sports Academy in Basori on Sunday.
