TMT FC close gap in GFF 2nd Tier

TMT FC won to close the gap at the top of the table standing with a game-in-hand during the week-20 fixture of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played on Tuesday.

TMT FC defeated Tallinding United 2-1 during a game played at the Banjul King George 5 Mini Stadium.

Malang Jammeh gave TMT FC the lead in the 34th minute before Yahya Ndong doubles their lead in the 64th minute. Sheikh Tijang Jallow scored the only goal of the game for Tallinding United in the 80th minute.

The win puts TMT FC on 2nd position with 38 points while Tallinding United dropped to 14th position with 22 points.

BK Milan were held to a 1-1 draw against Jarra West during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Jarra West took the lead through Musa Ceesay’s strike in the 7th minute, while Ebrima Kinteh restored parity for BK Milan in the 90th minute.

The result maintains BM Milan at the top of the stable standing with 38 points while Jarra West occupy 13th position with 23 points.

Meanwhile, Hart FC beat Latrikunda United 1-0 during a game played at the Soma Mini Stadium.

Zakaria Dampha scored the only goal of the match for Hart FC in the 35th minute.

The victory puts Hart FC at 15th position with 21 points, three points behind Latrikunda United, who occupy 12th position with 23 points.
