Remi Mendy and Alagie Wally scored for the defending champions in the 85th and 90+3 minutes, while Modou Lamin Touray scored for Steve Biko in the 29th minute.
The win moved Hawks FC to 12th position with 18 points while Steve Biko dropped to 10th position with 21 points.
Elsewhere, Gamtel FC beat the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) 1-0 during a game played at the Bakau Mini Stadium.
Dawda Sissoho scored the only goal of the match for Gamtel in the 43rd minute.
The result puts Gamtel FC on 8th position with 23 points while GAF occupy 5th position with 25 points.
