Super Cup crown delights Medina FC gaffer

The head coach of Medina FC, Buba Camara, has expressed his delight after his side clinched the 2024 late Omar Jallow (OJ) Serrekunda East Super Cup trophy.

Medina FC defeated T.Town FC 1-0 in a tightly-contested final played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday.

Coach Camara was speaking to journalists shortly after his side lifted the Late Omar Jallow (OJ) Serrekunda East Super Cup trophy.

Coach Camara stated that the Super Cup final was a very difficult match because T.Town FC made things tough for his side.

He further stated that they were not expecting such brilliant performance from T.Town FC.

“We are neighbours and we shared so many things together.

‘‘When we scored T.Town FC, they came all out for an equalizer and created goal scoring chances thank God his players maintained their composure thus the match ended 1-0 in favour of Medina FC,’’ Coach Camara.

The Serrekunda East Super Cup final attracted thousands of spectators from Serrekunda East and its environs who cheered their respective teams.

 Kawsu Sanyang scored for Medina FC in the 30th minute of the match, which eventually proved to be the winner for them.
