Steve Trawally inspires Ajman to league cup quarterfinal place

Bubacarr ‘Steve’ Trawally on Monday inspired his Emirati side Ajman to a 3-3 draw against AL Sharjah during a game played at Sharjah Stadium. The draw ensured Ajman booked a place into the quarterfinals of the Etisalat Cup. 

 

The 26-year-old came off the bench to inspire Ajman’s come-back into the game after scoring his side opening goal from the spot in the 79 minute of the game before Abdullah Al-Junaibi and Bilal Abdullah sealed the comeback in the 83 and 89 minutes respectively.

Meanwhile, Bubacarr Trawally got his first goal of the season in Ajman FC 3-1 win over Al Dhafta. 

The former Real de Banjul player scored from the spot just after three minutes into the game.

Ajman currently sits 7th position in the Arabian Gulf League with 11 points after 7 matches.
