Steve Biko welcomes Jarra West in 2nd Division League opener today

Steve Biko will host Jarra West in the opening match of the 2020-2021 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two league today, Wednesday at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4 p.m.

The Bakau giant killers, who were struggling before GFF declared the league season null and void in May 2020 after President Adama Barrow extended state of public emergency in a bit to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, will contend to stun Jarra West to clutch the vital three points.

The Jarra West based-club will also scuffle to batter Steve Biko to snatch the significant three points.

Latrikunda United will lock horns with Falcons at the National Technical Training Centre at 4 p.m.

The Latrikunda based-team were topping the second tier standings before Gambia  Football Federation (GFF) declared the league season null and void in May 2020.

They will fray to maul Falcons to claim the significant three points to bolster their chances of gaining promotion to the first division next season.
