Faye was speaking to Fatu Network last Wednesday.
He revealed that the grass was infected, adding that they did not have pesticide to put on the grass before CAF inspection.
Faye further stated that there was a problem with plumping machine but not the water, adding that he took the blame for not watering the Stadium for three days before CAF inspection.
It could be recalled that the Independence Stadium grass was infected before CAF inspection.
