The Gunjur Freetown based-academy defeated Fabaida United 4-2 on post-match penalty shootouts after regulation time ended goalless in a nail biting final played at the Gunjur Nyamina Mini Stadium on Saturday.
Sporting General Football Academy and Fabaida United FC played defensive and offensive football in the opening minute of the match.
The duo crafted goal scoring opportunities but failed to capitalise on them thus the match ended goalless.
This pushed the match into post-match penalty shootouts, which ended 4-2 in favour of Sporting General Football Academy.
As champions, Sporting General Football Academy went home with a giant trophy, medals and a cash prize of D75, 000 while Fabaida United FC received D50, 000 as runners-up.
