Seventy (70) clubs applied to participate in the Serrekunda East nawettan qualifiers this year.
Only Sixty-One (61) football clubs applied before 31st March 2023 SESDO deadline.
SESDO has approved 52 clubs for this year’s Serrekunda East nawettan qualifiers after meeting requirements for the qualifiers.
The release added that since 2022, SESDO Exco resolved to initiate an informative registration form for the nawettan qualifiers for the very first time in Serrekunda East due to the club's ownership predicament and improvement of the nawettan football.
However, this approach was received with mixed feelings but today it helps more than 52 communities and individual football clubs.
Gradually, this will be standardized and improving the Serrekunda East nawettan qualifiers.
