
The theme for the press conference was to complete the democracy pavilion two, adjust flood lights and build multi-sports beach court.
Speaking at the ceremony, president of Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO), Modou Yusupha Cham, stated that the press conference was aimed at informing the general public about the Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Award Night and Gala Dinner.
Cham further stated that SESDO had four to five objectives to host the award night and gala dinner.
He noted that there are legends and people who fought for Serrekunda East zone namely Late Omar Amadou Jallow and MO Njie and his executive.
Cham pointed out that in 2023 awards night and gala dinner SESDO certified late Omar Amadou Jallow, MO Njie and his executive for their efforts.
‘‘We could not organise our nawettan successfully without the support of our partners such as government, public and private sector,’’ Cham said.
Cham further pointed out they recognized their partners and that is why they decorated them.
He lamented that their objective is to decorate their athletes.
Cham expressed his readiness to maintain best practices, financial discipline and perfect strategy vision to build Serrekunda East.
