The Gambia U-17 team, led by Third Vice President of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) and Head of Delegation Demba Conateh, paid a courtesy visit to the Gambian High Commissioner in Senegal, His Excellency Hadrammeh Sidibeh. The visit showed appreciation for his support and encouragement to the team throughout their stay in Dakar. Sidibeh was full of praise for the Scorplings and their technical staff led by Head Coach Yahya Manneh: "From the first day I visited you at your hotel, I do not doubt your spirit and determination to defend our flag.
On behalf of the government of The Gambia, I say massive congratulations to you all.
Every Gambian is happy, from my family at home to myself and the staff here; we're truly grateful," Sidibeh stated.
Demba Conateh, on behalf of the President of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF), thanked the High Commissioner Sidibeh for his generosity and support for the team.
Head Coach of The Gambia U-17 team, Yahya Manneh, echoed similar sentiments, describing the visit as a huge motivation for the team because it created an enabling environment.
