Sabu Utd, Black Star share spoils in KYSA nawettan

 Sabu United FC and Black Stars over the weekend shared the spoils in the 2023-2024 Abdou Kolley sponsored Kembujeh Youths and Sports Association (KYSA) ‘nawettan’ football competition.

The Sabu boys and the Black boys drew goalless in a tightly-contested match played at Kembujeh Community Football Field.

Both sides came for the vital three points to cruise to the next round of the competition but the match ended one apiece.

Sabu United FC opened the scores through Madi Secka in the first half of the match.

Black Star fought hard for an equaliser and levelled matters through Sanusi Gassama in the 65th minute of the match to share the spoils.

The match was graced by football enthusiasts in Kembujeh and its satellite villages. 

Meanwhile, the prestigious competition is named after Hon. Abdou Kolley for his outstanding contributions to sports development in Kembujeh.
