Red Scorpions to leave Banjul today for Sierra Leone as Women’s Champions League looms

The Gambian champions, Red Scorpions women’s team today, Tuesday, 30th July 2024 leave Banjul for Sierra Leone, as the 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Champions League edges closer.

The team is expected to leave the country at 3am.

Coach Choro Jobe Mbenga has named a strong squad for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Champions League.

The tournament is set begin on 1 August 2024 and finish on 11 August 2024.

Red Scorpions will open their account against Aigles De La Medina of Senegal on Thursday 1 August 2024 before rubbing shoulders with Determine Girls of Liberia in their second match on Saturday 3rd August 2024.

Red Scorpions will clash with Mogbewmo Queens of Sierra Leone in their third and match on Thursday 8 August 2024 before playing against Mogbewmo Queens on Monday 11 August 2024.
