Red Scorpion held, GPF close gap in Women League One

Red Scorpions Female Team over the weekend was held by Abuko United in their week-ten fixtures of the ongoing 2021/22 Gambia Football Federation Women's League Division One played at Live Your Dream Sports Complex in Basori.

The Jeshwang based club draw goalless with Abuko United on Sunday.
Red Scorpions, who now recorded 26 points, secured 8 wins, two draws without a loss in 10 league matches.
The Gambia Police Force was awarded three points plus two goals after The Gambia Armed Forces filled only six players in the late match on Sunday.
The Gambia Police Force is now breathing right behind Red Scorpions with one point adrift them after 10 league matches. They won 8 matches, draw one and lost one, collecting 25 points in the process.

City Girls drew 1-all with Brikama United in the early kick-off on Saturday, while Immigration succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Berewuleng on Saturday.
Brikama based club, Berewuleng sit third on table standing with 15 points. They won 4 games, draw 3 and lost 3.
Banjul based club, City Girls occupy fourth spot with 14 points after winning 3 games, drawing 5 and losing 2 matches.
The Gambia Armed Forces sit 5th position. They won four, draw 1 and lost 5 matches. They collected 13 points.
Struggling side, Abuko United occupy 6th place on the table standing. They won 2 games, drew 3 and lost 5 encounters. The Abuko based team is with 9 points.

Brikama United sit 6th position on the table with 5 points after only winning a single game, drawing two and losing 7 matches.
