The city boys, who are down to 2-0 against Samger in the first half of the match, scored three goals in the second half of the match to snatch a slender win over the Academy boys.
Real de Banjul still lead top-spot on the country’s Elite League table with 55 points in 25 league matches.
Samger sit bottom-place on the First Division League table with 21 points after 25 league outings.
The Academy boys now need to win their remaining five league clashes and hope teams above them on the league table slip to stay in the First Division League for another season after their woeful performance in the league campaign.
