Real beaten in GFF reschedule fixture

Real de Banjul were beaten during their Gambia Football Federation (GFF) week-11 rescheduled fixtures played on Thursday.

Banjul United defeated Real de Banjul 1-0 at home during a game played at the King George Mini Stadium in Banjul.

Alieu Sanneh scored the game’s only goal for Banjul United in the 11th minute.

The win moved Banjul United to 11th position with 19 points while Real de Banjul occupy 3rd position with 27 points after 15 games.

Wallidan beat Greater Tomorrow 1-0 during a game played at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

Abdoulie Manneh’s 4th minute strike was all but enough to help Wallidan collect the maximum points.

The win moved Wallidan to 2nd position with 28 points while Greater Tomorrow sit 15th position with 11 points after 15 matches.

Gamtel FC defeated GAF 2-0 during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Ebrima Sonko opened the scoring for Gamtel in the 37th minute before Omar Joof double their lead in the 85th minute.

The triumph moved Gamtel to 10th position with 19 points while GAF sit 6th position with 22 points.

Samger FC played a 2-2 draw against Marimoo Pakfood during a game played at the Bakau Mini Stadium.

Samger FC scored their goals through own-goals from Foday Saine and Ebrima Senghore in the 2nd and 90th minute while Marimoo Pakfood scored their goals through Yankuba Jallow’s brace in the 49th and 63rd minutes.

The draw leaves both teams on the same points (23), with Marimmo Pakfood sitting ahead on 4th position, while Samger occupy 5th position.
