Njie played 51 minutes for Futbola klubs RFS in their 4-1 win over Valmiera before clashing with Liepaja.

He will fight to play more matches for Futbola klubs RFS in order to secure a place in The Gambia senior national team.

Njie was influential for The Gambia U-20 team in the 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship hosted in Egypt and the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Argentina.
