PSV Wellingara edges closer to gaining promotion to 1st Division

PSV Wellingara edged closer to gaining promotion to The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League after their astonishing performance in the country's Second Division League campaign.

The Wellingara based-club is currently topping the Second Tier table with 59 points after winning eighteen matches, drawing five and losing seven.

PSV Wellingara will fray to win their remaining four league outings to gain promotion to The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division One League.

Meanwhile, Water Side FC, Wagadu FC and Jam City are all brawling for survival in the country's Second Tier following their dismal performance in the Second Division League.

The trio will vie to win their remaining league matches to increase their hopes of staying in the Second Tier for another season.
