Power Dynamos Football Academy will rub shoulders with Dabanani United FC in the final of the 2023 Gunjur ‘nawetan’ league competition final after winning their semi-final match played at the Gunjur Upper Basic School Football Field on Saturday. 

The Sifoe based-academy beat Argentina FC 1-0 in the quarterfinal match of the 2023 Gunjur nawetan Knockout competition before their league semi-final match.

Argentina FC came for revenge against Dynamos Football Academy to advance to the final of the 2023 Gunjur nawetan league competition but lost to the Sifoe based-academy 1-0, thanks to striker Edward Jassey’s second half strike.

Dabanani United FC thumped Nyofelleh United FC 2-0 in their semi-final match played on Sunday to navigate to the final of the 2023 Gunjur nawetan league competition.

Ebrima Sonko alias Chanso and Omar Faal were on the score sheet for Dabanani United FC during the match.

Meanwhile, Argentina FC and Nyofelleh United FC are both out of the 2023 Gunjur nawetan league competition after slipping to Power Dynamos Football Academy and Dabanani United FC in their semi-final matches.
