Pipeline, Jarinton through to SWESO Knockout Cup Round of 16

Pipeline FC, Jarintong and Bundas FC became the latest teams to book their places into the ongoing Serrekunda West Sports Organisation (SWESO) Knockout Cup tournament round of 16 stage following their respective wins.

Pipeline FC became the first team to book their place into the round of 16 stage of the tournament after defeating Old Jeshwang 1-0 during the early game played on Thursday 19th October 2023.

Muhammad Jabbie scored the only goal of the match for Pipeline FC in the 51st minute, leaving both players and fans and supporters of Old Jeshwang disappointed.

Jarintong FC made it through to the next stage of the Knockout Cup competition after thumping Future Stars 2-1 during the late match played on Thursday 19th October 2023.

Future Stars took the lead through Yusupha Jammeh’s strike in the 26th minute, before Jarintong came from behind to score two goals through Alagie Dembo Jallow and Sadi Cambi in the 35th and 72nd minutes respectively to collect the maximum points.

Meanwhile, Jarintong's journey continues to prove fruitful as they secure places in both round of 16s of the knockout and the league cups.

Bundas FC eliminated Jatta’s FC 2-1 during a game played on Saturday 21st October 2023.

Adama Camara opened the scoring for Jatta’s FC in the 35th minute, before Bundas FC came from behind through Mustapha Sallah and Ebrima Sarr goals in the 73rd and 89th minutes respectively to collect the maximum points.

Bundas FC have now booked their place into the next round of the knockout cup.

Meanwhile, the earlier scheduled game between D.K. United and Gintos was postponed.
