Outlaw crown champions in Lamin

Outlaw FC were crowned champions of Lamin Sports Development Organisation (LSDA)  Alkalos Super Cup trophy following a 4-3 post-match penalty shootout win over Wayeto West FC during the final played at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial Football Field over the weekend.

Both teams played a good game but it was Outlaw who won the honours after a 1-1 stalemate in regulation time.

Outlaw took the lead in 35th minute when Mamudu Bah tapped in Ousman Chorr's cross from close range.

Having gone into the break with a 1-nil advantage. Knockout Champions Outlaw could have double their lead when they were awarded a penalty but Karunka Suso missed the opportunity for them in the 78th minute.

League Champions, Wayeto West FC came in second half determined to get back into game and their efforts was rewarded just two minutes away from regulation time when substitute Assan Camara scored to ensure parity.

As champions, Outlaw went home with a giant trophy and cash price of D5000 while runners- up,  Wayeto West FC received a consultation prize of D3000.

Speaking to journalists after the match, Outlaw coach Yaya Colley expressed delight with the performance of this boys and thanked them for a job well done.

Wayeto West FC, coach Alieu Faal expressed disappointment with Wayeto West fans.

Sanna B. Ceesay, president of Lamin Sports Development Association said they were pleased to serve their people and assured stakeholders that his committee will continue deliver up to expectation.

The Super Cup final was witnessed by a host of Alkalolu around the satellite villages including paramount chief, Musa Suso.
