Gaffer Colley was speaking to The Points sports shortly after his side’s 8-7 post-match penalty win over Team Rhino in their semi-final match played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Monday.
‘‘It was a tough semi-final match against Team Rhino. We know each other very well and our match against the Rihnos is always tough,” he said.
‘‘I believe in my boys because I know at the end of the day they are going to win because we prepared very well for the semi-final match against Team Rihno,’’ coach Colley affirmed.
Coach Colley revealed that their target is to clinch the FF Cup trophy this season after losing the league trophy.
‘‘The tempo of the game was very high and we were also mindful at the back.”
‘‘My boys fought very hard despite the horrible condition of the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium,’’ Gaffer Colley pointed out.
He stated that they were going back to the drawing board and prepare very well for their 2024 FF Cup final against Medina United.
He acknowledged that Team Rihno was a difficult side to play with.
Coach Colley added that they would not underrate Medina United in their FF Cup final, adding that they would do everything possible to clinch the FF Cup trophy this year.
