
The Rugby materials were donated to NSC by The Gambia United Kingdom Forces Community, while the running blade worth 3, 500 pounds was from The Gambia National Sports Council.
The Rugby materials include balls, defense protection bags, armbands, attached bans (training), and jerseys amongst other things.
Marcel Mendy, the executive director at NSC, said the equipment would go a long way in developing and promoting Rugby sports in the country.
"Our interest as a sports council is to promote our sports in the country. We want to encourage all our associations to continue doing it for our people and the country", he said.
He thanked donors for their support and foresight in contributing to the development of Rugby.
