The balloting for the championship was held on Wednesday 04th March 2024 at the GRTS building along MDI Road, Kanifing. It was attended by representatives of various Institutions and Companies.
Divided into five groups of four teams, 20 Institutions and Companies are set to take part in the competition.
GROUP A comprise of: Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA), Gambia Printing And Publishing Corporation (GPPC), Gambia Radio and Television Services (GRTS) and Gambia Maritime Administration (GMA)
GROUP B is made up of: the Gambia Police Force (GPF), the Gambia Transport Service Company (GTSC), Food Safety and Quality Authority (FSQA) and Gambia Milling (GM)
GROUP C consist of: National Audit Office (NAO), Enterprise Life Assurance Company (ELAC), Gam Petroleum (GP) and the Gambia Arm Forces (GAF)
GROUP D will feature: Personal Management Office (PMO), Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH), National Road Authority (NRA) and Gambia Tourism Board (GTBoard)
GROUP E: Public Utility Regularity Authority (PURA), National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC), Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) and Medical Research Council (MRC)
Sulayman Badjie, widely known as Uncle Saul appealed to all teams that have not yet settle their registration fee of fifteen thousand dalasi (D15, 000) to come forward and pay on or before Thursday 28th March 2024.
He also called on stakeholders to come to NISA’s aid and support them both morally and financially.
Meanwhile, the tournament proper is expected to commence during the weekend of 20th, 21st April 2024.
